Shamit Khemka describes important things about machine learning

Shamit Khemka

Shamit Khemka, an IT expert with diverse experience in the field, agrees that programmers no longer have to guide machines on how to solve a problem. In this era of machine learning, machines solve problems on their own. They do so by finding out the patterns in every set of data. It becomes easy to predict the future when the hidden trends and patterns are analyzed.

How does machine learning help?

A certain kind of data is followed by the machine learning algorithm which then identifies the patterns hidden in that data. For instance, consider a case where you show the computer a series of images. A few of the images say this - "this is a horse" while others say "this is not a horse." After doing this, show more images to the same computer and it will try to find images that have a horse in them and that have not. All the correct and incorrect guesses made by the computer will be saved in its memory. Thus, making it smarter and enhancing its ability to learn.
