Shamit Khemka stresses the need for solving community challenges through CSR



Shamit Khemka, the founder of the software company SynapseIndia, believes that companies should get actively involved in solving community challenges. He says enterprises need to be socially responsible and share a part of their success with the needful people in society. Established businesses should develop a voluntary corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. Skill-based volunteering can significantly help society. Employees can complex community challenges that require specific skills and/or knowledge.
